Meet our consultants
Mike McGinnis
Prior to being in the car wash industry, Mike served in the United States Navy. After his service, he began working for a local start-up car wash concept in the Baltimore area. He was successful in helping that company build their business and expand throughout the region with multiple locations. He was a vital part of the company’s success and provided the direct leadership at each location that led to unprecedented growth. This experience helped Mike learn all the ins and outs of the industry while strengthening his leadership expertise that his time in the Navy instilled. After almost 10 years in the industry, Mike feels confident he can take his leadership and concept to the next level. He is passionate about the opportunity to help other local businesses create and develop teams that improve operations and drive profitability.
Ian DePinto
Ian’s background includes graduating with an A.A. degree having a focus on business. He also earned a C.N.A. license. These achievements provided diverse experiences that developed character, accountability and strong interpersonal skills which support building positive relationships with an increasingly diverse public. Working in the car wash industry for over five years, Ian became a General Manager and contributed to the success of opening new sites and managing/hiring key employees. On the operations side, Ian’s responsibilities included maintaining/upgrading equipment and technology while remaining open seven days per week. Ian plans to use his depth of industry-specific knowledge and skills to support other car wash concepts in achieving success in today’s competitive market.
Megan O'Connor
Megan graduated from the George Washington University in 2005 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and criminal justice. She then went on to attend the University of Maryland School of Law. She graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2012. She was licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland in 2012. Later, she became licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia. Megan has continued in the private practice of law since 2012 representing clients in a wide array of civil matters including business litigation, business transaction work, employment litigation, and contracts. For more than two years, Megan has successfully owned and operated a civil litigation firm in Howard County. Megan frequently assists consulting clients with employment, marketing, and human resources support.
